My Journey...
I've been practising hands-on healing modalities since 2001. After completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I utilise multiple East Asian and American acupuncture styles to provide a more general, integrative, and functional perspective in the clinic. I am intuitive kind and fascinated by supporting patients' health journeys.

I've been working with:
Digestive Disorders
Chronic & Acute Pain Conditions
Headaches
Stress, Depression & Addiction...Mental Wellbeing.
Chronic Fatigue
Sleep disorders
Skin Conditions
Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD)
Women's Health
Men's Health

I have discovered that integrating Eastern & Western medicine through TCM offers a collaborative, functional medicine experience.

I use Raynor massage which involves techniques from Sports Massage/ Shiatsu/ Acupressure/ Reflexology/ Ayurvedic and other skills learned over the years. I had been fortunate to learn skills from John Ryan, who took me through Raynor massage and further mentored me with his brilliantly effective sports massage therapy, releasing tension and 'dis-ease' from the body, creating balance, and homeostasis.
I was blessed to study with Brandon Raynor when completing my advanced diploma.
Practitioners are trained to guide patients through intense emotional release, giving an amazing, transformative experience, moving deep-seated 'dis-ease' of the physical-emotional body.

Through all of my EnergyWork, I have been fortunate enough to be attuned to Karuna-Reiki Master Teacher thanks to my AMAZING! Master Thereas'a Donovan. I am guided by this Japanese form of 'non-invasive' chakra healing and re-balancing, to remove blocked energy and clear the emotional energy-body, restoring spiritual well-being.
Reiki is always in the background.

Doctor of Creative Writing
TARA
My Journey...
As a lecturer in creative writing and editing and publishing at University of Southern Queensland, I believe whole-heartedly in the power of story; there are few forms that can bring together the political, the intellectual, and the emotional so effectively.
For me, editing is a collaborative process where authors are provided with feedback and suggestions regarding their manuscript. This should be a positive experience as the editor and writer work together to make the manuscript the best it can be. As the creator of the text, authors have complete control over which changes they would like to incorporate into their text and nothing would make me happier than to assist you in making your book the very best it can be.
My work has been published in The Creative Penn, Queensland Writers Centre’s WQ Magazine, Writing from Below, TEXT journal, and Time New Higher Education, and my creative work has been published by Andromeda Spaceways Magazine, SWAMP journal, TEXT Journal and October Hill Magazine. My work has been shortlisted for the Gloria Burley 2024 Unpublished Manuscript Award, and I am the author of the mystery novel Every Time He Dies. On my YouTube channel, I love to share my reflections on writing craft, creative productivity, and remaining creatively fulfilled.

I offers three editing services to fiction writers:
Manuscript Assessment
Structural Editing
Copy Editing

Manuscript assessment: A manuscript assessment is a broad overview of a manuscript's strengths and weaknesses. These reports comment on narrative components such as character, setting, theme, and plot, but also timeline, dialogue, voice/style, and language (as relevant).
Structural editing: Structural editing is the most involved form of editing and therefore the most costly. A structural edit is similar to a manuscript assessment, however, it is a closer examination of the narrative components mentioned above.
Copy editing: Copy editing (sometimes referred to as line-level editing) checks a manuscript for consistency (spelling and characterisation), pacing, plot holes, clarity, timeline, logic, but also sentence structure and grammar.
